Ferocity of the Wilds

Enchantment

Attacking non-Human creatures you control get +1/+0 and have trample.

Theme-wise I do love the hit & run aspect of red creatures zipping around. I’m a sucker for enchantments, and this works well with putting out things like Orcish Oriflamme and Ferocity of the Wilds to further augment these quick creatures. Mechanically these creatures end up basically being burn spells with additional downsides (and I love downsides too).

Love this! Have you considered Garruk's Uprising and Ferocity of the Wilds for helping with card draw and chump blockers? Boros Charm is always a nice thing to have in hand to deal with board wipes. Rhythm of the Wild, because speed and nobody likes having their biggies countered lol. Fellwar Stone, Shadow in the Warp, and Chromatic Lantern are good for expensive decks (though you know I'm a sucker for the lantern lol). What do you think about Ganax, Astral Hunter, Thunderbreak Regent and Korlessa, Scale Singer? A lot of recommendations, sorry lol

Let's say I have a couple of 1/1's and both Cavalcade of Calamity and Ferocity of the Wilds on the field.

If I attack with my 1/1's, would both enchantments trigger? Or would only Ferocity of the Wilds trigger?

Chandra's Ignition can be a great board wipe that takes advantage of your beefy boys. Ferocity of the Wilds will help your herd get through. Walk the Plank is efficient remoooval with minimal downside, and Maze of Ith is just thematic, plus can save your tail in sticky situations.

Mirror Entity doesn't get the buff from Ferocity of the Wilds . Since changeling includes all creature types, Mirror Entity is a Human. Or, more importantly for this, it's not a non-Human.

So Ferocity of the Wilds buffs non-Human you control and Mirror Entity has changeling so what happens?

Awesome! Back in Amonkhet I built a EDH Hazoret the Fervent deck, and very similar to yours (without many new cards that didn't existed yet, like Torbran, for example). So difficult to play, so fun at the same time... and sometimes you just wan thanks to your enemies confused treath assesment hahahaha! Nowadays it's dismantled, but man seeing your list and remembering makes me the desire to recover it.

Nice idea with Claws of Valakut and Ferocity of the Wilds , I didn't use them back in the days.

Trample enablers:

These two are good bombs... Aggressive Mammoth Thunderfoot Baloth

These cards are just valuable cheap trample enablers... Primal Rage, Ferocity of the Wilds, Archetype of Aggression, Khenra Charioteer

Garruk's Uprising is a good draw source when you populate 5/5 dragon tokens.

Brawn is a good creature to sacrifice early. It is more annoying for your opponents to deal with. The effect works from the graveyard, and draws out graveyard removal.

Additional Suggestions:

Also, there's an interaction with Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Mirror Entity + Atla Palani, Nest Tender that might interest you.

Reinforcements is a card that acts the same as Congregation at Dawn but in the late game, after board wipes and spot removal.

Also consider Kogla, the Titan Ape as he is opponent creature removal, artifact and enchantment removal, and can protect Atla Palani, Nest Tender from removal and board wipes with his last ability.

AEther Flash will kill all your eggs instantly, and make sure your opponents are punished for Avenger of Zendikar, tokens, weenies, etc.

Both Scapegoat and Fanatical Devotion are extremely valuable sacrifice outlets which can save select creatures from removal and board wipes.
