Creature (1)

Yasova is back, but this time bringing with her an extra colour. Playing black was always a consideration when building the original, but Bone Splinters and Vampiric Rites forced my hand and here is the result!

In case it wasn't clear from the decklist, this deck has a lot of sacrifice outlets, and a lot of ways to steal your opponents creatures. The aim of the game is to take something, hurt them with it and then sacrifice it for profit before they regain control. Whether the addition of black makes it playable or not, this deck is absurdly fun to play.

Original deck: The Yasova Way

Run through of the cards, and why:

Yasova Dragonclaw is the namesake of the deck, and can be a repeatable Act of Treason letting me keep the real acts in my hand for later.

Jeering Instigator is another card used for stealing things. can also be a chump blocker if I'm desperate.

Grim Haruspex is here to draw cards out of my creatures that get removed or their creatures that I sacrifice.

Merciless Executioner is a sacrifice outlet, effectively removing 2 of my opponents creatures in one go.

Act of Treason - 3 mana steal something. backbone of the deck and very reliable.

Turn Against is much more expensive, but you don't need a sacrifice outlet as you can just pick a creature that will trade with another to block.

Bone Splinters... I mean come on, 1 mana removal that I get to sacrifice a creature to? It's perfect for this deck.

Collateral Damage is more conditional than Bone Splinters, but can be used at instant speed.

Evolutionary Leap is a consistent sacrifice outlet that draws me my creatures (all of which have nice effects).

Vampiric Rites is similar to Evolutionary Leap, I haven't really decided which is better yet, although playtesting will tell.

From Beyond provides me with either mana ramp or a sacrifice outlet every turn - perfect target for Evolutionary Leap or Vampiric Rites

Finally, Rattleclaw Mystic is there to ramp into combos, letting me use Act of Treason with Collateral Damage on turn 3

Suggestions for improving landbase and sideboard greatly appreciated. Please give this a +1 if you think it looks fun to play, and if you test it out, tell me what happens.

Also, any ideas for mainboard changes would be greatly appreciated, this is just a rough draft that I threw together.

Hope you enjoy!

Did a playtest against a friends UB aristocrats as I thought it might be a bad matchup. I beat it more than it beat me, which was nice, and killing off Hangarback Walker's after stealing them, and later using the tokens as sac fodder was the MVP in most games.

Thanks to all commenters and upvoters.
