U/W Control deck for the post-Gatecrash Meta

featuring my favorite creature in Standard Drogskol Reaver.

1- Blind Obedience one of the reasons for going Esper or Raka was the addition of instant-speed removal that wasn't bounce. Haste creatures are a real threat to control decks in the format. This enchantment changes the game, by making Haste creatures play on our terms. It also provides a nice source of lifegain/damage as well.

2- Ghost Quarter since everyone now has ALL THE DUALS, they are very inclined to play far less basic lands in their decks. Some current running lists even have fewer than 2, or none at all. Nephalia Drownyard and Kessig Wolf Run can be real pains, this helps out with those. Being just U/W eases our mana enough that we can play 3 pseudo-Wasteland. Don't even get me started on the Tamiyo ult combo

3- Drogskol Reaver is amazing with Extort triggers from Blind Obedience. Netting you card advantage just for casting spells. The creature is immune to a lot of popular removal and excels on both offense and defense... drawing you cards and gaining you life while performing either. It is one of my favorite creatures, and has a great home in this deck.
