Creature (4)

This deck's main goal is to play Forerunner of the Coalition and Hostage Taker. With them on the battlefield, we play a second Hostage Taker (or Vizier of Many Faces, copying Hostage Taker). Hostage Taker #2 exiles Hostage Taker #1. (If necessary, cast the opponent's exiled creature first, so they don't get it back).

The following turn, we cast Hostage Taker (or Vizier) #3 and exile Hostage Taker #2. This initiates the combo of infinite Hostage Takers entering the battlefield. When HT#2 is exiled, HT#1 returns to the battlefield. Upon etb, it exiles HT#3, and HT#2 enters, exiling HT#1 again.

With forerunner of the coalition on the battlefield, these infinite Hostage Takers / Vizier ping the opppnent for infinite damage.

Protection

Most of our other cards will protect the combo, eliminate threats, and help survive until we can execute the combo or our backup plan.

Backup Plan - Scarab God

Scarab God is debatably the best card in standard and makes for a reasonable backup plan. U/B Pirates also happen to be great reanimated zombies. So any card that isn't part of the combo or designed to support it, will hopefully work well with Scarab God.
