The goal of this deck is to use a combination of cheap, game prolonging artifacts and
The Antiquities War
to win. The life gain will help prolong the game. The deck manipulation with
Artificer's Assistant
and
Zhalfirin Void
will help draw artifact when you want to, or get lands when you need them.
the buddy/check lands are for
Chamber Sentry
so you can smooth out the curve usually cast for 1 or 2 but can be cast for 0 to activate our cast triggers on some of our cards.
The decks this is good against are as follows:
Dimir control: a good portion of out threats are unanswerable until it's too late because their removal is creature based or board wide removal for small creatures which all our threats are 5/5's or bigger, game 2 we side in

Izzet drakes: most of Izzet's threats are burn cards and
