Welcome, to Solar Revenge.
So what exactly is Solar Revenge?
I got this idea once I saw Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded . This is the combination of 3 well known decks, Burning Vengeance, Solar Flare and Frites, all 3 that work extremely well with the graveyard.
Ever play Burning Vengeance archtype? Many people have tried but it always seemed too slow and if somebody destroyed/countered it, or you hit it with a random discard, you were very, very sad.
Sun Titan brings all permanents other than himself, giesela and mirror-mad, which is great when I usemirror-mad phantom as a self mill card to fill up the graveyard for plenty of goods.
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight just seemed to work so well as a finisher, making all Burning Vengeance 's do 4 damage to any permanent, as well as the player, and dealing 10 herself while flying overhead.
Unburial Rites is how to bring back gisela and sun titan, as well as being able to ping down a target with burning vengeance, it just seemed to good to pass on.
+1 if you like, I still need to work out some kinks with it, but I was very happy with how it plays several times. Comments and suggestions are welcome!
