[SOI] Recycling (Standard MTG Deck)

Wanted to mess around with a Gitrog build that cycles through land and creatures. Kind of a more midrange play off Jon finkel's seasons past deck from PT SOI.

SOI Game Day — May 1, 2016

Just won Game Day today with this. Seasons Past feels so incredibly powerful.

Played a lot of GB Cryptocrats and BW token control. Ormendahl is tough to deal with pre-sideboard unless they wipe all their creatures and I have To the Slaughter. I'm honestly considering a main deck Grip of Desolation as an answer. To the Slaughter is very good at taking out Gideon and Ob Nixilis though.

The Cryptocrats matchup after SB is very good. Tainted Remedy shuts down the Zulaport Cutthroat strategy and Flaying Tendrils provides an early sweeper to clear their Blisterpods, Loam Dryads, and Elvish Visionaries before they can start going off with Rites.

I'm a big fan of Tainted Remedy in general lately. So many threats have lifelink and a lot of decks depend on life gain for their strategies and it just wrecks them. It shut off an opponent's attacks with Shambling Vents in one game and made Ormendahl an auto-lose if it ever attacked or blocked.
