@ ldjosh Totem Armor is fun to use but ultimately detracts from the core functionality of the deck which runs cards that either help us get to the combo, help us survive, help us disrupt our opponents combos and board, or are combo pieces. Totem armor feel like a win more card which is not something we can afford to run when we have very little draw power to obtain such enchantments.

Its a very similar list that Im modifying for better playability and price. To be honest it needs work as Saffs original list (while budget) is a bit slow.

Feel free, if you think up some good budget changes feel free to comment back so that I can see about updating the brew.

Gonna try this out when I get all the cards. I'll let you know how it works.

@kamarupa As good as Hour of Revelation is, it would generally be worse for us than our enemies as we regularly make use of enchantments to pillow Fort our way out of harm.Brave the Elements is a decent idea but Im not sure what I would be willing to drop for it. I feel that it takes a role similar to Kami of False Hope as it is more 3 card inclusion for self protection.

Bishop of Rebirth as a cheaper (albiet worse) STitan.
Love the deck! +1

Im not trying to make the this deck overly budget friendly. To me anything less than $100 USD, that still is able to hold up a fair fight vs major competitive decks is reasonable for the modern format.

20 lands? If it works, awesome.
How are you forecasting?
Plus 1 - Martyr Proc is my main deck
December 8, 2017 2:17 p.m.
20 lands is a perfectly reasonable number as we have plenty of pillow-fort cards to lengthen games. We posses no fetchlands so we have effectively a greater potential to draw our lands given we do not filter them out via fetches. We even have both Ranger of Eos and Squadron Hawk which filter non-lands from our deck. Even Sun Titan can be used to help pull back lands from the graveyard. Due to the many ways in which we effectively increase our potential to gain land I can say that I am uncertain of what prompted your question. This is a Marty-proc deck so our stated is always to win through a grindy and explosive mid range statedgy.

I like the deck, so +1 from me, here are my suggestions.
Replace Imperial Mask with either Ivory Mask or Witchbane Orb (I'd suggest Mask because it is an enchantment, and thus not as weak to Kolaghan's Command. Both cards are better and cost less which is what you want since you can't really play leyline on a budget.
I don't know what meta you are going for here, but Eidolon of Rhetoric is great against decks like Storm.
I personally think you could play a Stony Silence or two and still be under budget, but if not it's all good.

I feel that stoney silence is a bit expensive for this build but your recommendation for Ivory Mask is very good I will make the change. In my meta I rarely fight storm but feel that this deck can deal with storm decently using Nevermore.
