This is a decent mono-black deck, the build is meant to be cheep in mana cost and effective against both aggro and control builds.

In the Main-board we have Blood Artist for some early life gain advantage. I threw in a few Bloodghast mainly for its landfall ability. He could serve as a constant pressure on our opponents, because he is probably going to come back every round, but I think I might throw him out because he can't block for us and he is really expensive to buy off of online dealers. So I threw him back into the maybe-board. Captivating Vampire and Vampire Nocturnus can beef up the smaller creatures on the board, especially the vampires that Bloodline Keeper   can churn out. The board has a motley mix of removal spells, you should be able to find one for almost any occasion. Two good cards, in my opinion are the Sign in Blood, for card advantage, and Mutilate for the aggro decks since our main-board has nothing but swamps for lands. Anowon, the Ruin Sage was added in as an after thought. He his a relatively cheep card (Moneywise) that would benefit us because we cannot sacrifice a non-vampire creature that we don't have, and it would really help us wear our opponents down.

In the side-board, we have various things for re-animator decks like Cremate and Tormod's Crypt. For card advantage, if you need it, Staff of Nin and Underworld Connections are available for side-boarding. Pithing Needle can neutralize any annoying effects you might come across like those of planeswalkers.

I am thinking about adding something like Hero's Downfall to the side or main-board for any instance that Victim of Night becomes irrelevant.
