Obzedat has decided its high time to call in some favors that a certain god of the dead owes him. New weapon in hand, he pimps out some lifelink to his most dedicated followers...while of course saving the best benefits for himself.
Creatures
Soldier of the Pantheon: A great new 2/1 for 1 mana, that can avoid the multicolored nasties that would try and remove him. As a bonus there is some life gain to fit in with the deck's theme too.
Vizkopa Guildmage: A replacement for the more mana intensive and prone to enchantment removal Sanguine Bond.
Desecration Demon: He's, well, Desecration Demon.
Blood Baron of Vizkopa: Obzedat's BFF. In play as 5 drop because we unfortunately aren't allowed to have 3 Obzedats running around the field. (Damn!)
Obzedat, Ghost Council: The main star of the deck, due to his synergy with Whip of Erebos. And you thought he was hard to get rid of before.
Sorceries/Instants
Doom Blade: DOOOOooooom!
Hero's Downfall: Removal? Removal.
Read the Bones: Getting you where you need to be, up to four cards at a time.
Thoughtseize: Remove any threats to Whip of Erebos, or anything deemed equally as scary.
Enchanting Enchantments
Whip of Erebos: Lifelink on all creatures can be huge. Getting the combo off with Vizkopa Guildmage even just once can easily win games.
Ordeal of Heliod: May not seem all that great, but is in play to distract from the real threat of Whip of Erebos in the deck. Will hopefully provide some benefit, and woe to the opponent who does let it slide when Vizkopa Guildmage is out. Preferably cast on one of the creatures with some form of protection.
Other thoughts
blind obediance is not in mainboard because I find myself rarely taking advantage of it fully. May move into main after testing the deck against others and seeing what I'm up against.
Twenty Creatures seems 2 too many and I may do some tweaking.

Oct 7th - Thanks so much for all the comments and feedback on the deck. I was really not expecting as much attention as it has gotten; only problem is I still need to pick up a few cards to complete the deck myself, and I think posting this has risen their price a bit! I'll have one or two minor tweaks to it before Game Day, and then will be back to let you know how it did!
