New build —March 24, 2015

Took out Delver of Secrets  Flip and Tome Scour and trimmed some of the control cards in favor of more Visions of Beyond and Jace's Archivist.

Now thinking about ways Jace's Erasure could be worked in; I am considering replacing Mind Sculpt with it.

Consider Archive Trap works great with all those Fetches in modern now.

Thanks! That's definitely something I would consider in a specialized capacity.

it can be a lil pricey but Trading is always an option and if your doing any large tournaments or even a FNM Modern you can guarantee AT LEAST people will be playing fetches. if not many other cards tutor .

Yeah that's a good point. For the mana cost and the number of fetches, it's a no-brainer.

Great Deck! I didn't think a Mono-Blue Mill Deck could be this cheap and still be competitive.

Thanks! I definitely win more than I lose with it. The only thing that is a real issue for it is burn and aggro, but that's just mill in general, I think.

Vapor Snag is just an upgrade to Unsummon

Right, but I like to have both in case I want to use Unsummon on my creatures in case they are getting controlled by something like Pacifism or if there is a board wipe to graveyard I can unsummon my own creatures to my hand instead of losing them.

I like Vapor Snag initially because it lets me control their creatures and attack their health at the same time. Thanks for your comment!

I also don't hate the idea of dropping a Dissolve and a Mana Leak and adding all the Dream Twist and running this deck as a 65 card deck. It's really still trim and gives you lots of options.

Hell, the planeswalkers are all so situational you could drop all of them and put Dream Twist x 4 in and run a 64 card deck.

Right. I'm trying to keep the deck fairly budget at the moment, though. The reason lots of those are out is to keep it mono-blue and to keep the cost down. All great suggestions.
