{UR} It's All An Illusion {UR}

This list is taking a look at Illusion Tribal through a post Modern Horizons lens. I figured the best starting point was to look into Merfolk Decklists and see whats that tried and true deck does to win games in todays meta.

With that in mind I decided the best way to play Illusion Aggro is to splash {R} for access to Blood Moon to run along with Spreading Seas to hurt the opponents mana base. Lightning Bolt and Fire / Ice acts as decent removal or just melt face to close out games.

Illusions dont have Islandwalk or as many viable Lords or creatures as Merfolk have access to However Illusions do have Flying and tend to be bigger than fish so to makeup for a lack of creature density I'm using more tempo/countermagic and strong hate/sideboard cards to fill the gaps.

Lord of the Unreal + Phantasmal Image Is a neat combo that really boosts the power on the field and makes Illusions become Slippery Bogles. Lord of the Unreal + Phantasmal Image you get a clone which is +1/+1 higher than the original creature Which will have Hexproof making the boardstate immune to to opponents targeting effects.
