This deck is all about holding off big attackers in the few turns, then getting out some amazing combos and cards that get extra turns.
The deck is based on getting extra turns, but the cards to do it are slow to play. Spells like Silence or
Render Silent
are great for disrupting plays that could turn into trouble. Cyclonic Rift and Banisher Priest will also help me stay safe for a bit]]. Board wiping with Supreme Verdict should be done ASAP or right before casting Medomai or Aurelia.
Ral Zarek, Medomai the Ageless and Aurelia, the Warleader are the key cards to generating turns. If Medomai and Aurelia attack together, Medomai gives an extra turn and Aurelia lets Medomai attack again on the same turn (NOT ON EXTRA TURN) and get a second extra turn. Ral Zarek doesn't really combo with them, but the more extra turns generated, the faster he gets to use his -7.
The second combo is one I saw in the deck deck:Legion Combo. If Legion's Initiative is activated after Aurelia, the Warleader first attacks, she can attack in your extra attack step for the first time instead of the second. This means that for 2 mana, you can attack with her (and Medomai) 3+ times in a turn, giving you as many extra turns as you have mana for!
The third main combo I really like in here is with Elite Arcanist and Silence. Exile Silence with his ability and you can potentially cast Silence on your opponent on all of their turns! Or every one of your turns and their turns if you use Ral Zarek's +1 ability to untap Elite Arcanist!
While this deck has some really cool combos, I still feel like it might be too slow to start.
