What this deck is?
This is a Green/White Standard Human deck compromising of human synergy and support from Angels and Spirits.
How it works?
-Hamlet Captain will give other humans a good buff when attacking or blocking and is especially good when there are two of them out since they will start giving +2/+2 and so on if more of them are out.
-Thalia's Lieutenant will give other humans a permanent buff and her own power/toughness will increase in size from human creature spawn. It is best to play this when they are two other humans out of the battlefield.
-Heron's Grace Champion will provide a very good combat trick giving your humans +1/+1 and lifelink at instant speed while also getting another creature out on the field. Using this can stop some of your creatures trading with the opponent's creatures during combat, and even if 1 or two of your creatures trade off you still gain life which is a good bonus.
-Thalia, Heretic Cathar will help with building your board presence and dealing damage to the opponent by making them take longer to build their own board presence by tapping their creatures so they can't block. Decks that rely on nonbasic land that can enter the battlefield untapped will be slowed down by Thalia.
-Sigarda, Heron's Grace will give your human creatures hexproof which will stop opponents from removing them or making them into potatoes. She also gives you hexproof which will stop annoying cards like fleeting memories or other spells that target you.
-Gisela, the Broken Blade is just a really good flyer
Draw Power
-Bygone Bishop is a good flyer and with its ability, it can pump out a lot of clues since the majority of creatures in this deck are 3 or less CMC.
-Thraben Inspector gives a clue and is overall a really good one drop 1/2.
Draw power is necessary for this deck as most mana costs are really low and if this deck didn't have draw power (which I have tried) then there will be quite a few occasions where you will do nothing on your turn.
Combat Tricks
- When attacking or blocking flashing in Heron's Grace Champion buffs all creatures but it also triggers Thalia's Lieutenants ability giving it an additional +1/+1 counter which can help it survive if it is blocked by a very large creature.
