INTRODUCING: Elemental Landfall! I love Landfall because it's an awesome way to think differently about Magic by timing your land drops to maximize your creatures' power and toughness while gaining life. Elemental Landfall feels very shamanistic as your connection to the land is far deeper than mere mana sources.

THE STRATEGY: Trigger Landfall at least once, if not multiple times per turn, in order to buff creatures and gain life. Evolving Wilds, Blighted Woodland, Nissa's Renewal, Slyvan Scrying provide multiple Landfall triggers per turn. Jaddi Offshoot and Retreat to Kazandu provide decent life gain to keep you in the fight. A splash of Blue adds card draw, counterspells, and Kiora, Master of the Depths. Undergrowth Champion, Oran-Rief Hydra, Grove Rumbler, Akoum Hellkite, and of course Omnath, Locus of Rage are incredibly powerful with Landfall and keep the battlefield full of enraged elementals to crush, trample, and burn your opponents on your path to victory!
