Try Virulent Plague instead of Cerebral Eruption. Anger of the Gods is already a boardwipe and Cerebral Eruption is high cmc for your deck?

Well, didn't know Virulent Plague :o downside of this card would be, that my Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet would become useless. I'm gonna stick with it as it is atm, but keeping your suggestion in the back of my head.

Cool deck +1 But I have some suggestions

  1. I would add either Stone Rain or Molten Rain to the sideboard, as they are a way to fight back decks like Tron since you don't have Blood Moon.

  2. I would try to add either Inquisition of Kozilek, Thoughtseize, or some combination of the two, as while your deck looks like it would have stellar matchups against creature based decks, a deck like Scapechift or Ad Nauseum would combo right over you.

  3. Why Stromkirk Captain? I get that he has synergy with the vampires you play, but most of them are powerhouses by themselves, personally I'd cut them for something like Pia and Kiran Nalaar or bigger creatures like Batterskull, but your build.

  4. If you have the budget I'd suggest Liliana of the Veil, or Liliana, the Last Hope, and/or Chandra, Torch of Defiance, as they are all powerhouse cards that can win games by themselves. Blood Moon is another option to make a deck like this have a more competitive edge.

  5. Add more lands, 20 lands including fetches isn't that spectacular at getting you to 4 drops every single game, I'd increase the count in order to increase consistency.

  6. Collective Brutality: This card gives you the edge against a decka like burn, and is sort of a toolbox piece for ripping apart a lot of decks in the current meta. Kolaghan's Command & Rakdos Charm are also kind of "toolbox" pieces as they have many helpful effects.

  7. I'd find some room for Faithless Looting, as you have no real card draw, many Rakdos decks fall flat on their faces without it.

Cheers!

Well, thank you for your suggestions, did the following:

Regarding your other suggestion: At this moment to costly, especially the PWs. But since I preordered 4 Modern Master 2017 displays, maybe I get one Liliana :o

But friendship... Wait who needs it when it comes to Magic? I like this deck, not big on being creature light... But it does catch my attention.

Might I suggest an Isochron Scepter? I normally wouldn't recommend it since it eats a card and thus normally requires two uses before you get your money's worth, but since this deck is low on draw power with only Faithless Looting, Isochron Scepter could be worth it to maintain pressure. Or just repeatedly Surgical Extraction after every time you kill something. I've also found it to be useful for holding onto removal when an opponent is running a lot of discard.

Dunno how Lil would be beneficial besides exploding the costs of the deck.

Ty lord for the input, never even considered Iso for this deck :o

Have you considered Crumble to Dust in the sideboard as opposed to Molten Rain? It single-handedly destroys their mana base rather than allowing them the chance to recover. Otherwise, this is a very cool list. I might have to give it a try sometime!

They may have printed a card to replace Tribute to Hunger: Fatal Push.
