rug in a different direction. probably a little slow.. but meh. combo revolves around resolving Animar, Soul of Elements then casting tenacious creature spells to pump up animar and make other creatures cost less. victories should come around turn 4 and 5 consistently.

if you resolve a Maelstrom Wanderer with Animar, Soul of Elements in play, it is usually game over. remember that cards that you cascade into count as played spells thus pumping up animar.
