This deck is one that I've wanted to put together for a long time, though is still a long way from perfect!

In the main, it runs along the theme of Vampires and +1/+1 counters, from Innistrad block, alongside some shenanigans with life attacks and life gain through the Vampires of Zendikar block. Along the way, I've also been looking for some of the more generic black and red stuff from other pre-Theros blocks, as one of the things I wanted for this deck was for all of the cards to have the pre-M15 cardframe. A subtheme was also direct damage through a variety of means, hence a couple of pingers and the like. Finally, I wanted to see if I could make a singleton deck to include a lot of variety, rather than relying on multiple copies of the same effect. It's a deck that's looking to go wide with its strategy, with some in-built redundancy among the traditional aggro effects.

But like I said at the start, it is still a long way from perfect!
