This deck has many high cost cards, but your way of getting around that is with your Crypt Ghasts.Crypt Ghast allows you to ramp efficiently enough to hopefully get a turn five Army of the Damned or Endless Ranks of the Dead. That's the ideal wincon, however nice chump blockers like Shambling Goblin and lifegain from other cards like Staff of the Death Magus and Whip of Erebos can keep you alive against most decks. Once you have a Ghast or two out, you can really start throwing out spells. Gray Merchant of Asphodel can be really annoying if you have an already established board, and Archfiend of Depravity is extremely irritating to creature-based deck owners. This deck isn't designed to be a quick win, but a very fun win. If your opponent doesn't have mass removal, your Endless Ranks of the Dead will supply you with an Endless supply of zombies, while Risen Executioner will make them scarier. Note that Ranks will proc off of non-token zombies as well, so that's definitely a plus! I'm still getting back into the swing of magic, and there are an ungodly amount of cards for me to look through after being gone for years.
