Beware the Approach

Standard* Control

MoonpieMandie

Sideboard

Objective: stay alive, draw cards, kill things, play Approach of the Second Sun to win. If that doesn't work, wait... It does work no matter what (mainboard anyway). Oh - and limit playing with creatures that are just kill fodder for the otherwise dead cards in opponet's hand i.e.. Unlicensed Disintegration. Hence, only 2 Torrential Gearhulk primarily used to flashback the usual suspects.

Pull from Tomorrow is DYNO mite for this build.

Plenty of flavorful cycle cards to help smooth draws, & quickly find Approach of the Second Sun.

And, oh, the much needed tranquility: Renewed Faith cycle and repeat via our Hulk, Blessed Alliance is such a gem, Fumigate to turn their creatures into our health points, Approach of the Second Sun because 7 life and it wins -everytime-.

MEGA Removal to cover all things. Castout catches anything, Declaration in Stone makes tokens banish as well as the dreaded Scrapheap Scrounger, Fumigate to clean up, Immolating Glare for direct spot removal.

Sideboard in wonderful creatures like Spell Queller and Angel of Sanctions game 2 and really blow their mind. I'm sure they boarded out 98% of their removal spells and will lose at a faster speed then watching the 2nd sun approach in game 1.

Anyway, that's it. Approach of the Second Sun is looming on the horizon. Play with this and love it.
