When I first got into Magic, the first deck I ever put together was an Aristocrat (specifically a Mardu Tribal variant), and it's still probably my favorite strategy in the game. So I kinda made it a point to build an Aristocrat variant every rotation. Mardu rotated out to Abzan Eldrazicrats, and now I've built probably my most favorite variant yet; Artifact Aristocrat. The deck has access to and can fully utilize some of the best cards in Standard such as Herald of Anguish , Fatal Push, and Hidden Stockpile. Sram's Expertise, Servo Schematic , and Scrapheap Scrounger give you both field presence and sacrifice fodder, especially with Anointed Procession. Powerful sacrifice outlets like Ravenous Intruder , Embraal Gear-Smasher and Herald help put pressure on the opponent while Solemn Recruit and Countless Gears Renegade benefit from artifacts dying by boosting itself or replacing the sacked artifact, respectively. And with the advent of Ixalan's Treasure cards, the options at our disposal are even greater, which I'm going to start playing around with here soon. Here's hoping this gets people's gears moving for Aristocrats in Standard!
