attempting to make all the cards you play bad. using the cruel ability of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and cards like it to make non creature decks cry. and cards like Spellskite and Kira, Great Glass-Spinner to make removal bad. all topped of with a full playset of Ghost Quarter and Tectonic Edge to put the Squeeze on your mana base.Took this deck to FNM went 3-1 Round 1 VS. Gixis Twin won 2-0this matchup proved trivial. disrupting his plan was easy packing 3 mainboard Spellskite on top of that Thalia, gaurdian of thraben , Vryn Wingmare , and Lodestone Golem made his spells more expensive than his decks mana base could handle efficiently. and post board with Aegis of the Gods and Imposing Sovereign . there was no hope.Round Two New guy on what appeared to be a mono green mashup of standard cards. Won 2-0not much really to say my deck outclassed his, but i was able to give him tips on better creatures. and pointed him in the direction of Card Kingdom's Modern Gauntlet of Greatness. Round 3 Cut to top 4 (our Group is Small) Won 2-1 Faced Turbo Fog. this Matchup is a bit odd as i make all of his Fogs really expensive but he has like 20 of them, and Rites of Flourishing so he could just keep Jamming them any way. lost game one, but recovered for games 2 and 3 Rest in Peace being the primary factor so he couldnt keep cycling through his deck and discarding Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. Round 4 Finals lost 1-2 Faced Merfolk. basicaly had no Ghostly Prison in my sideboard so they just outclassed me in the late game.
