Sideboard

The plan is to have a balanced land base that doesn't tax our life points (or bank account) and rely on a swarm of synergistic human creatures to close out the game. Typically, Champion of the Parish and Thalia's Lieutenant at the core of the deck grow themselves and the team to deal with larger threats and swing in for big damage. There is built in control / combo hate with Selfless Spirit to protect our board and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben to make removal and other game-winning pieces harder to cast (considering an additional one in the sideboard but I have noticed she can interfere with casting Collected Company on curve]. Her other variation Thalia, Heretic Cathar can also lend herself to swinging games in your favor by forcing ambitious mana bases and cards like Lingering Souls to enter the battlefield tapped. Collected Company, Duskwatch Recruiter   and Eternal Witness are in here to provide resiliency. Essentially, the deck seeks to edge out other decks by taking advantage of the cards modern players tend to rely on. Humans is far from a "Rogue" deck archetype but it can function as an anti-meta option depending on where you play.
