Adding more Karn and putting 1 copy of either of the Liquidmetal in the sidedeck would help get your combo assmbeled easier. If you are playing this deck with the idea of casual (bo1) I would advise a side deck of 7 cards for Karn to search for artifacts (default 15 for bo3). The artifacts can be something like Tormod's Crypt or similar situationally useful cards. You could also include a late game payoff to the sidedeck as well to help end the game.

Would suggest adding some kind of ramp like a 1 dorp mana producer so you can assmble your combo faster. The mana production can be either creatures like Llanowar Elves or auras for your lands like Wild Growth or if you add more "forest" subtyping to your lands then Utopia Sprawl would also work to help fix mana. To add forest dual type lands you could try to get some "shock" lands like Stomping Ground to replace the deserts, but the more budget friendly Wooded Ridgeline would aslo work. These lands would also help with your reveal lands as you could reveal these tap lands to help your land enter untapped in a pinch. Could also use the ramp spell Farseek as an option if you choose to add those to your mana base as they can be searched for with this spell and put to board.

I think your mana curve is also a bit greedy with only 18 lands while having multpile cards over 4 mana in your deck. With this mana curve you may want to be sitting around 20 lands for a more consistant draw to play your spells. Afterall the Inferno Titan is slow to the board and likely a win more card if you have your combo shutting down your opponents ability to be on board. If you want to keep land count low, then you could try adding cards like Generous Ent as your late game pay off in place of the Titan as you could cycle it to find a land and if you added the dual type lands then you could search for those if the share the land type (Radiant Grove / Temple Gardenfoil or Wooded Ridgeline / Stomping Ground). The Ent could even be brought back from the grave late game if you put something like Portal to Phyrexia in your side deck for Karn to find when you are not needing him to do something else at the time.

Fun card option if you are more on the sacrifice 1 drop creature binge, you could use the enchatment Abiding Grace to keep bringing back 1 drops or gaining life ewhen there is nothing to bring back. Not really recomended, but something I thought fit your deck idea.

Hope these help your deck idea.

Hi kamarupa, I’m glad you like my deck — I’m really attached to it and I have a lot of fun playing it. Your suggestions are interesting and much appreciated. That said, after lots of testing, I believe this current list is optimal for now and I don’t think I’ll be changing it, but I’ll go through your suggestions one by one:

  1. You’re right in saying that card draw would be a great thing — it would especially help me keep pushing more efficiently in the late game. I really hope some great draw cards for white weenies will come out in the future. The two cards you mentioned, while good, don’t fully convince me. Tocasia’s Welcome draws at most one card per turn, has no body, and has the same CMC as the most expensive card in the deck. I even tried Esper Sentinel for a while, thinking it might be strong in this deck like it is in other white decks, but I was wrong. This deck already has plenty of cards to open the game and is more interested in drawing cards in the late game, while Esper Sentinel shines more in the early game. I ended up replacing it, first with Thraben Inspector, and then — as soon as it was released — with Recruitment Officer, both of which are creatures that can comfortably be played in the late game.

  2. In this case too, you’re right in a way. It’s a pity to have only two removal spells, but the thing is: years ago I used to play four Path to Exile, then I went down to three, and finally to two. That’s because this deck wants to play almost only creatures, since it benefits a lot from them. If I start drawing more than one Path to Exile, the strategy can stall, especially since I need to reach a certain life total and — if I don’t see the right sequence or the opponent applies enough pressure — I need all the help I can get. I hope it’ll eventually become more viable to run more than two removal spells, or that they’ll release a creature — even a 1/1 with CMC 1 or 2 — that acts as removal. For now though, even though Winds of Abandon is interesting, Path to Exile remains my favorite.

  3. Patch Up and Raise the Past are very powerful cards for their CMC (I consider them better than the popular Abiding Grace), but I don’t like relying on the graveyard. This deck tends to be fast and tries to end games quickly, but beyond that, it also prefers to preserve its creatures, even the small ones (unless they’re Cat Tokens). Raise the Past, however, is a really interesting sideboard option.

  4. I tested Castle Ardenvale for a short time. On paper, it’s a promising card since it could help maintain the flow of creatures in the late game. However, I find that a card that only puts a 1/1 on the field when you have at least five lands (and no better spells to play) just underdelivers. Even assuming that you get to use Castle Ardenvale now and then, I think the benefit doesn’t outweigh the (small, but still present) risk of starting the game with a tapped land in play.

Lastly, I wanted to say that your rule of thumb regarding the number of disruption spells is relatable. You counted soul sisters as half a disruption spell each, and Giver of Runes as one full disruption spell each, right? I assume that’s because soul sisters don’t directly disrupt the opponent’s plans

In blue, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive for unblockable goblins. Not very useful when combined with buffs/lords.

More White,

Probably already considered, but Mondrak or Anointed Procession. Also a bunch of token/weeny specific white and artifact cards dedicated to you drawing (such as Idol of Oblivion or Mentor of the Meek).

Rise of the Hobgoblins for tokens and some utility.

Abiding Grace if your running at least 10-15 cheap goblins and/or support.

Fanatical Devotion: Lose your tokens to save your threats.

@capwer

The scam comes from comboing turn 2 Martyr with turn 1 Speaker/Serra Ascendant to immediately start swinging or producing tokens as of turn 2. Creates a quick clock. I felt like "scam" just sounded better lol

I've thought about Abiding Grace, but it always seemed too high costed and slow. May have to take another look.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused where the scam is here? Angels are cool but I expected some solitude ephemerate action, Restoration Angel or something along those lines, given the title. Also I would recommend if you want to be a 4x Martyr of Sands deck, try out the card Abiding Grace for truly massive amounts of lifegain by recurring your martyrs and other 1 drops every turn. Kami of False Hope is another classic mono white martyr card usually run in conjunction with these.

Wrath of God over Day of Judgment, regen not super relevant rn but theres shit like hardened scales with Welding Jar

no Martyr of Sands? you already have 4 squadron hawk

Abiding Grace is great, gives you inevitability and a mid late CA grinding engine

The One Ring is always good but even better if youre a lifegain deck, unfortunately a single copy costs half as much as your entire deck

Theres a better ajanis pridemate now, Voice of the Blessed

1-2 Emeria, the Sky Ruin also good
