this is my U/G rogue deck that focuses on putting counters on Lorescale Coatl, I am happy because this deck really fulfilled to deck ideas with one go. I have always wanting to build a rogue deck, and for a month now I have been obsessively trying to make Lorescale Coatl work. Now I have both <3

let's break this deck down

Creatures:

• Horizon Chimera is a one of it gives me a flying option and the life gain is pivotal :D

• Edric, Spymaster of Trest has great synergy with Lorescale Coatl and is a great draw engine

• Cold-Eyed Selkie is a such a good threat when given a Rancor or a Favor of the Overbeing fly or trample through or Islandwalk if lucky for massive card draw

• Jhessian Infiltrator is unblockable and works great with my auras especially Favor of the Overbeing

• Looter il-Kor it has shadow (so lets be honest unblockable) and helps filter my deck and bumps up Lorescale, I did try Invisible Stalker but I couldn't get over the fact that looter had a card draw ability

• Lorescale Coatl this is my main wincon he gets really big I due to all my creatures drawing cards, then equip him with a Rancor Swing for 15-20 pretty consistently! You would be surprised how fast this snake grows :D

Auras:

• Rancor auto-add due to playing green, I mean come on adds to power, gives trample and when my creatures dies oh well back to my hand! :D probably my fav card of all time!

• Favor of the Overbeing this card is awesome and has so much synergy with this deck seeing most of my creatures are blue and green most my creatures get flying and vigilance and +2/+2 isn't to shabby!

• Alpha Authority great card and gives coverage to my Lorescale Coatl and Edric, Spymaster of Trest . Hexproof is necessary for this deck to survive!

Instants:

• Disrupt a 1 drop cantrip and counter spell, great in early game and still relevant late game forcing my opponent to tap that extra mana can be the difference from lorescale getting the Doom Blade

• Remand Cantrip, Counter, Lorescale alive for one more turn :D

• Simic Charm all three abilities are useful as hell give an unblockable +3/+3, hexproof my board take that Lightning Bolt, and bounce threats back to opponents hand!

• Brainstorm one mana draw three, do I need to explain why this is so great in this deck?
