NecroPony - Devour plays better with
than
, and while it is absurd with Ezuri, Claw of Progress it's better with Meren of Clan Nel Toth.

I put them all onto tappedout, best as I could. I don't recall how to link decks properly, so here are regular links.

Funnily enough, it seems the R/W deck has the most value at first.

like last year daretti was the most expensive.

As far as the value of reprints is concerned, they're all in the $65-75 range, with the Boros deck holding the most value. This isn't including the value of new cards.
November 6, 2015 12:41 p.m. Edited.
Well, since they're going to retail for $35, you can expect those prices to drop.
November 6, 2015 12:50 p.m.
I am a little surprised they did not reprint the guild charms.

Value aside, I'd rank the decks by their raw powers like this: U/R, B/W, R/W, G/B and then U/G.
U/R, B/W and U/G are easily upgradeable: however, it will be hard the Boros giant tribal (dat flavor tho). G/B would be great... With Prosh in command. I consider it as a package of good cards to upgrade the Prosh deck. :)
What are your thoughts about this? :)
November 6, 2015 12:59 p.m.
They did reprint Golgari Charm, but for the most part the Charms aren't that great in Commander.
November 6, 2015 12:59 p.m.
I missed, that. A reprint of Boros Charm would have been a good one.

Yeah I feel like Daxos has the best value for me at least. I've been needing copies of Phyrexian Arena, Karmic Justice, and Black Market. The three of those alone almost cover the entire cost of the precon
And elpokitolama, I agree but personally I think a lot of those cards would fit well in a Karador, Ghost Chieftain deck as well

High Market seems like a very nice reprint for commander, and I'm one who has an old-school copy that will likely decrease in price too. Urza's Incubator is an awesome reprint for tribal EDH too! I think they did a good job with some of these more obscure reprints.

So the U/G deck got Swiftfoot Boots instead of Lightning Greaves... Why?
November 6, 2015 2:09 p.m.
elpokitolama says... #21
Because when playing Ezuri, you're targeting your creatures. Shroud would be detrimental to this :(
November 6, 2015 2:13 p.m.
Of all the decks, I'll probably play Izzet and Golgari out of the box. Then cannibalize the rest for upgrades.
Hurray for DD: Izzet vs. Golgari- EDH edition!

Oh. Duh. That didn't even register when I was typing that comment. Just ignore me lol
November 6, 2015 4:15 p.m.
Which deck do you think I should get? I am getting it for playability, value, and adaptability. I am leaning on the U/G one becuase it is the easiest to adapt and change, but what do you guys think?
November 6, 2015 4:20 p.m.
can someone explain to me why one is a rare and one is an uncommon? Ambition's Cost has been printed at both rare and uncommon, Ancient Craving only rare. i feel like both should be uncommon. Concentrate has always been uncommon

it's great that you can run both in an edh deck, but i feel the rare slot could have been better filled with something else
November 6, 2015 4:27 p.m.
U/G is definitely playable. One commander combos with a ton of cards, the other commander is great for voltron (and making fatties unblockable). I personally like it because Kaseto can make both be unblockable and get stronger at the same time, but the ability is easily applied to any of your creatures (Scytheclaw all the way!). A lot of cards can be taken advantage of with her and Ezuri.
November 6, 2015 4:32 p.m.
JWiley129 and greyninja: where do you find the cards with the new symbol/frames?
greyninja: good question sir, good question.

November 6, 2015 4:47 p.m.
CheeseBro - The Mothership. Specifically here.
Kroto - A deck with so few creatures doesn't really need Lightning Greaves. It wants to win with its spells, not its creatures.

There's a few cards I'd like from each deck, probably nab some singles or trade for them from friends...might grab a B/G if I feel a need to be really mean to my playgroup (they've never seen my true colors shine...), but otherwise just netting a B/W and tearing it in two for Genju and Oloro upgrades. The decks are all sweet, but nothing that screams 'I'm the commander for you!' this time around. I will stick to my current brood and work on upgrading them.

Maybe it's just because nobody else plays Storm/High Tide/Jank piles of Instants and Sorceries like I do... but I expected a lot more people to talk about this card.
Because it's frickin awesome.
Like, it's the card that Past in Flames wants to be for a little worse than twice the cost... I can't even begin to control my hype about this card. Y'all just need to play more spells.
November 6, 2015 10:14 p.m.
CheeseBro MEME LEVEL 1,000
The only thing I can figure is lore
(but I doubt wizards looked that far into it. I know I'm too lazy to look into it)
November 6, 2015 10:19 p.m.
Now that we've got the full decklists added, any idea how long it'll take to update the database? There are a few decks that I need to update with the new 55 cards.
November 7, 2015 12:11 a.m.
I don't mean to be a downer, but was anyone a little underwhelmed by the reprints? I love the black reprints of black market, phyrexian arena, but the rest were kinda... Meh. Particularly green... Regal force would've been nice for the UG deck. The myriad mechanic is pretty sweet though.
November 7, 2015 12:47 a.m.
These are the cards that make me want to buy one of each deck:

-Chain Reaction (Destroy their Sol Rings and not yours? For four? And kill Narset, Enlightened Master? HELL YES!)
-Mystic Confluence

-High Market
-Centaur Vinecrasher
-Scourge of Nel Toth

-oreskos Explorer
-Daxos's Torment (5/5 Enchantment Demon dodges board wipes. Awesome!)
-Daxos Himself of course
-Karlov himself of course
-Grasp of Fate (Zedru FING LOVES THIS!)

urza's incubator

-Synthetic Destiny
-Arachnogenesis (This is just stupid. Not quite as reliable as Volcanic Fallout vs Goblin Tribal but if they don't have unblockable/mountainwalk you just win!)
Going by the list I am clearly buying the
deck, which is pretty suprising to me because I would never have played those colors before. WotC is reallyl doing right by Constellation now and I'm glad to see it.
November 7, 2015 2:16 a.m.
kengiczar For Chain Reaction, you are probably talking about Fiery Confluence, which only the W/R list contains. You're welcome.
You can just buy singles anyway unless you want a lot of the cards (i.e. more than 5).
November 7, 2015 6:43 a.m.
mande I sure am. Wizards built the decks with like 50/50 cards from the last 3 years and cards that were already in one of the C11,C13, or C14 decks. Then they added like 1 or 2 actually good reprints that people don't actually have to make us want the decks.
November 7, 2015 7:23 a.m.
K34 yeah I agree. Seeing that red got Comet Storm as a mythic (again!) was extremely disappointing. And on top of that, they could've reprinted a bunch of other things in need of reprinting (batterskull, regal force, mind's eye, any of the enemy-colored lieges) but instead gave us reprints from theros, return to ravnica, and modern masters 2015. Yuck. Even cards that are normal staples (ex. thran dynamo) didn't get any love. Super disappointed.

no love for mizzix's mastery, kengiczar?
That shit's like a red Yawgmoth's Will. I read mizzix's mastery as 5RRR: "win the game"
not to mention it kind of wombo combos with Mirror of Fate 8-)))

@DarkLaw C14 had Wurmcoil Engine, which I don't see anything on par with from C15, and had some EDH classics like Emeria, The Sky Ruin, and Thran Dynamo. C15 has... High Market, Black Market, and Phyrexian Arena?
Also, still angry that U/R got yet another Instant/Sorcery commander instead of an Artifact commander. Why must we be forced to play Mishra, Artificer Prodigy WHY??
November 7, 2015 5:31 p.m.
DarkLaw I'm not sure. The C14 had planeswalker commanders (a first), the lieutenant mechanic (which was really cool) and some of the more iconic characters (titania, gisa, geralf) making appearances. This set had potential (especially for a new UR and RW commander) but they went with some real oddballs.
November 7, 2015 6:48 p.m.
Well. Officially disappointed with most of the new EDH cards. The multi-color legendaries are fine, and Centaur Vinecrasher is a beast, but the rest of it's kinda blah.

GreenGhost says... #46
Umm mystic confluence and command beacon would beg to differ with that statement.
November 7, 2015 9:24 p.m.
Command beacon is the poster boy for mediocre rare lands, and mystic confluence is fine. But all it really is, is a more expensive, redesigned, cryptic command. Not new or exciting.
November 7, 2015 9:31 p.m.
kyuuri117 - You don't give any credit for the Confluence cycle? They're trying new things, and they are quite strong.
November 7, 2015 9:35 p.m.
Yea, I have to agree. They are fairly versatile, and strong. Not every card in the decks are amazing, but they're pre-constructed decks, so I feel like that's really to be expected. There's some strong stuff though. At least enough that I think they're worth picking up. I am going to try and grab at least one.
