How to use Arjun, the Shifting Flame

So as a young EDH player who still doesn't know too much about deck building and combos for the format my initial impression of Arjun, the Shifting Flame was that of confusion. So, community, I would like to know how you would use that specific "discard" effect to net positive benefits.
I brewed two decks. One voltron and one storm. They are both fun to play. Tell me if you want me to link them. Voltron is interesting though, you pretty much spell sling with equipment and cards like Artful Dodge.

You play Chasm Skulker and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind.

CharlesMandore,
Welcome to EDH! One of the neatest things about Arjun is how many directions you can go with him.
I'm just gonna tag a bunch of folks and their decks here though, as they can advise you WAY better than I could:
- Discoduck: A Great and Terrible Knowing
- elpokitolama: OMG MY BRAIN IS MELTING PLS HELP
- BookerCatch: Arjun of the Three Archetypes
- UGAslime: Orbital Space Laser v1
Also, there was a thread on Arjun a while back that may give you some more ideas too: Arjun, the Shifting Flame EDH Deck Help?

Why Arjun once when you can do it twice? Run Mindmoil for more shenanigans!

I'm thinking about using a deck that plays a bunch of cantrips to stay at that hand size, then ends with a storm card. Alternatively, you could play some of the previously mentioned cards, but Diviner's Wand, Dream Halls, and Omniscience seem perfect too.

Don't forget a Vedalken Orrery or Leyline of Anticipation just in case you want to play more than one thing
Magus of the Future and Future Sight seem like great cards to run, since you can keep your hand full or increase hand size with ease

i played him with a lot of low drop high impact cards while searching out Psychosis Crawler and Alhammarret's Archive. While both are on the field you can cast a few cantrip cards (cantrips in case you're unsure arethings like Faithless Looting) and draw a ton of cards while dealing damage via psychosis crawler. The key is to remember you are putting your hnd on the bottom ofyour library and then drawingthat many cards. With Alhammarret's Archive you draw double cards off of Arjun's ability. A typical kill for me was to have my three pieces on field, those being crawler, archive, and Arjun, and for reality's sake 4 cards in hand. I cast faithless looting and dump the other three cards and draw 6 Doing 6 damage to everyone but me. Faithless looting resolves letting me draw 2 cards and do 2 more damage. my new hand should have at least 2 cantrips in it or something cheap to cast so lets say i cast Serum Visions. i drop 5 cards to draw 10 and do 10 damage. now this setup does require protection and it will defintely require more and more as players become aware of how it works but its always fun to see it go off. of course, after the 10 damage we will be casting another spell tp draw 18 and deal 18 damage. so essentially for 2 mana we did 31 damage with this setup and we should have plenty more cards in handto finish off players. sorry this was so legthy but i like to make sure players get as much info as they can from me. welcome to edh. i hope you enjoy it.
sorry for any typos, im using my wiiU to typethis out....

That is so funny, it's all good man. The card just seems so bizarre because it relies on permanents that could be hard to obtain because of how the ability work, that's how red works I guess ahaha. I suppose you set up the pieces before casting the commander.

With the way my deck works he's the first permanent I cast. Wheeling is how my deck tutors actually. Most things being one drops or ritual cards it allows me to "tutor" and cast relatively fast and efficient

For Arjun can I put any amount of cards on the bottom of my deck or do I have to put my entire hand on the bottom?

Its ability says "put the cards in your hand on the bottom of your library in any order." It doesn't say that you may choose a number of cards. "The cards in your hand" means all of the cards in your hand.

This guy as a commander is known for wheel decks and combo decks. Either run a bunch of stuff like Psychosis Crawler that triggers whenever u draw - you can run some mill cards that are crazy with that commander - or you can just scry, draw, and control till u get the combo pieces you need to win.
