A Naya Enchantress deck featuring the 'rune' cycle from Kaldheim and echantment synergy from Neon Dynasty.

Deck Breakdown

Core

4x Jukai Naturalist (NEO) 4x Rune of Might (KHM) 3x Rune of Speed (KHM) 3x Rune of Sustenance (KHM) 4x Runeforge Champion (KHM) 18 total

This is the heart of the deck. The cards you need to see every game and need to be in the list regardless of the metagame. If Runes + cost reduction is no longer good, then you are better off playing a different deck than trying to change these.

For those unaware, Runeforge replaces the casting cost of all runes with . Naturalist reduces the cost of all enchantments by . Having both in play at the same time makes your runes cost . This combo can lead to some absurdly explosive turns, especially when combined with cards in the next section.

Supporting Cast

2x Kami of Transience (NEO) 4x Generous Visitor (NEO) 4x Showdown of the Skalds (KHM) 2x Michiko's Reign of Truth (NEO) 14 total

These are your payoffs for running a bunch of cheap/free enchantments. Having these in play when you start chaining runes threatens to end the game on the spot if your opponent lacks an answer.

Flex Picks

1x Hallowed Haunting (VOW) 4x Commune with Spirits (NEO) 2x Kami of Transience (NEO)

With 32 solid picks and 23 lands, that leaves us with 7 'flex' slots to play around with. You could potentially go up to 8 or 9 by trimming a land or an additional rune, at the risk of making the deck less consistent. Commune is't especially exciting, but it helps smooth out rough draws, especially if you choose to go to 22 lands. Haunting is nice vs decks that want to play the 1-for-1 removal game, but he window to cast to for value is narrow. Cast it too soon and you give your opponent an opening to reagin momentum. Cast it too late and you may not have enough gas left in your hand to make spirits with it. Kami of Transience lives in a strange spot between core card and flex pick. You always want to see at least one, but additional copies are not as useful and it can often be a dud if you topdeck it without at least one or two enchaments in hand. I'm running four for now but I could easily see cutting one or two copies for something else.
