For those that don't know how this works (IE everyone but myself lmao)...

Plan #1: cast Codie, Vociferous Codex turn 3, then untap with codie and use its ramp ability to cast either Elusive Otter (for x=4) or Beluna Grandsquall in adventure mode. This instantly wins the game.

Plan #2: if you draw spellshift, you cast it targeting any of your adventures. This instantly wins the game.

Plan #3: beatdown with your creatures and remove threats, try to win via dmg.

Plan #4: get completely stuck under your own Codie, Vociferous Codex, never draw Callous Sell-Sword to remove it, and lose the game in shame and defeat.

(see version 1 in my deck lists if you want, it's white instead of black and had a 5cmc wrath in place of otter, and Frolicking Familiar in place of sell sword)

ok, so swapped Frolicking Familiar with Callous Sell-Sword. the theory is this might allow us to both A.) kill some threats that are too large for bonecrush to handle or borrower to deal with for long enough... and B.) if we play codie, try to combo, and it gets countered, it gives us a shot at getting rid of our codie and un-screwing ourselves, being able to try to value OP out of the game with creatures. Not killing ragavan sucks but I have been seeing weirdly very few rags lately, and all the mana dorks 1dmg used to kill now just straightup are replaced with 2 toughness creatures. Bad time to be pinging for 1 maybe.

AND no longer do i need Realm-Cloaked Giant - Elusive Otter is the perfect alternate combo piece! it lets me spellshift for 5, but it also lets me just cast for x=4 and trigger codie! plus combat trick and better prowess creature than the 3cmc flyer... AND blocks ragavan/trades.

PLUS now i can play sell-sword, and just play black lands in place of where I had white lands!
