Hands down, this is probably the nastiest deck I've made thus far in my two months playing mtg. I'll try and break down this very fun glass cannon of a deck for you all. Your suggestions are welcome.

Objective:

The goal is to either use Elvish Piper, Quicksilver Amulet, or get enough land down to cast Avacyn, Angel of Hope and make all permanents I control indestructible. Along with creatures like Novablast Worm, which allow for constant board wipes each turn if Avacyn is out on the field, which protects my other creatures. Dragonlord Dromoka helps control what my opponent can do while I'm playing, and Sigarda, Host of Herons prevents sacrifices from Crackling Doom or anything that would cause me to sacrifice creatures or lands with abilities like Annihilator. I put in Fleecemane Lion for obvious reasons, and my low costs like Birds of Paradise and Sylvan Caryatid help to chuck out mana for those big drops in case I don't have a Quicksilver Amulet or Elvish Piper in my hand. Auriok Champion was added in for early game help with the added bonus of making it difficult for those creature heavy aggro deck builds and Twins to prey on me early on.

An Atomic Hand:

One ideal hand is as follows-

x1 Forrest

x1 Plains

x1 Birds of Paradise

x1 Sylvan Caryatid

x1 Fleecemane Lion

x1 Avacyn, Angel of Hope

x1 Elvish Piper

Being able to put out Fleecemane Lion by turn 3 and by turn 4 getting Elvish Piper so turn 5 I have Avacyn, Angel of Hope.

When I get to this point with this hand, there are a lot of options. if I'm going up against a creature heavy deck with focus on dropping fatties on the field and swinging, or even more aggro-like creature decks (and most especially token builds), I really want Novablast Worm as soon as possible. Personally, I prefer to be cautious at this point as my normal opponents use control and play with me regularly, so I prefer drawing an Idyllic Tutor to find Asceticism and then hopefully get Novablast Worm, Sigarda, Host of Herons and Dragonlord Dromoka out asap. Long story short, no matter who you play against, you want to get Avacyn, Angel of Hope out asap along with Novablast Worm and nuke their board each turn, while maintaining everything on your side through Avacyn's abilities.

Card Combos to Consider:

I'm not trying to be purposely repetitive, just thorough. Here goes:

Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Novablast Wurm = "The Nuke of Nope" (Hence this deck's name)

Dragonlord Dromoka + Sigarda, Host of Herons = defends against my creature summons being negated.

Obviously, Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Dragonlord Dromoka + Sigarda, Host of Herons is the best damn thing to get out, and I hope to do that, but it doesn't always happen.

This is a bit of a joke deck, and it's quite midrangey, and definitely a glass cannon, but I think it has some potential. I'm open to suggestions to improve the deck.

Thanks for viewing my deck. If you liked it, please +1, and if you want, check out some of my other interesting Modern decks and leave suggestions there, if you please.

Cheers.

Updates Add

After seeing the wonderful advice of Femme_Fatale, I decided to roll with her card suggestions. Seems to have really improved early game interaction and overall control that I was missing early game, as well as in general game play. I honestly didn't really have early game protection that I needed, and Auriok Champion really helps out here. I went ahead and ran with the suggested sideboard as I was already considering a few of those cards like Ghostly Prison and Choke, and I knew it needed to happen.

I increased the amount of Quicksilver Amulet by another 2, and put in another Fleecemane Lion for good measure. Path to Exile was added for the lack of any control, and compliments Auriok well. So far the playtests have shown promising results. Thanks again for the help! I'll keep working on this deck this week and see what else I can do to improve my playability. I might also look at my land options eventually as well.

Thank you Femme_Fatale and kamarupa for your advice. I'll do my best to update when it's necessary.
