A mix of allies and cheap equipment seems to be a fun and competitive deck in the SOI standard. Most of the deck is from BFZ, OGW and SOI, with the exception of the pain lands and some side board cards.

The basis of this deck type are Weapons Trainer and Stone Haven Outfitter . To make use of their abilities there are 10 cheap equipments ( Captain's Claws , Bone Saw and Stoneforge Masterwork ).

Kor Bladewhirl , Firemantle Mage and Lantern Scout are the typical Allies you want to run. In addition to the standard allies this deck runs a bunch of vampires. Drana's Emissary drain our opponent's life and add it to our life count, Cliffhaven Vampire works well with Drana's Emissary and Lantern Scout. Drana, Liberator of Malakir is great value and fits well in the deck, giving all attacking creatures +1/+1 after the first strike phase. Resolute Blademaster can lead to devastating attacks and huge life gain in combination with Lantern Scout

Maybeboard: Bloodbond Vampire grows each time we gain life, I had her in the deck when I was also running Kalastria Healer . Skeleton Key could take the spot of Stoneforge Masterwork . Stormrider Rig gives free equips when a creature enters the battlefield. This works well with our Ally tokens. It's a bit too expensive though. Open the Armory is a cheap tutor for equipment, but I often felt that I would rather have another creature than a tutor that fetches Captain's Claws 99% of the time.
