If you want a competitive magic deck you'll have to spend A LOT of money, which some people don't have. This is why I present to you
100 DOLLAR TEMUR BEATDOWN
Of course being a budget, you'll often encounter its non-budget counterpart, in which you'll probably lose to. Probably not going to win a Grand Prix but it can grab you packs at FNM
Now the cards
[Win Conditions]
Savage Knuckleblade: A 3 mana 4/4. Reminds me of Loxodon Smiter back in Ravnica. Anyways this can also be a 4 mana 4/4 with haste if needed. With Elvish Mystic you can probably get this guy out turn 2
Polukranos, World Eater: A 4 Mana 5/5. Efficient creatures FTW. In addition, you can use his monstrous ability to make him stronger and get rid of any threatening on the board.
Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker: 4/4 Indestructible Flying dragon, what's not to like? Sure the price tag is quite high but we can afford to include at least one in the deck
[Early Game]
Flamewake Phoenix
: The moment I saw this card I fell in love with it. 2/2 Flyer with haste. Returns to the battlefield for one mana. I love this thing
Boon Satyr: SURPRISE SATYR OUTTA NOWHERE. On a more serious note, a 4/2 flash for 3 is pretty good. Surprise ferocious trigger
Rattleclaw Mystic: Great mana accelerator. Adds one of 3 different mana you need
Elvish Mystic: Llanowar Elves with a new name
[Utilities]
Wild Slash
: It's Shock, but better
Lightning Strike: Gets rid early threats.
Stubborn Denial: Protect your Llanowar Elves erm I mean Elvish Mystic
Void Snare
: Can bounce really annoying stuff on the board. Keeps board clean until your fatties come out
[SIDEBOARD]
Disdainful Stroke: If there are any 4 or more CMC cards you need to counter
Magma Spray: Against creature heavy decks. Exiles Bloodsoaked Champion and Hornet Queen
Scouring Sands
: Handles most rush decks. Gets rid of those Hornet Queen tokens
Stubborn Denial: If more counters are needed
Void Snare
: If more bounce is needed
Temur Charm
: Soooo useful
Surrak Dragonclaw: SURRAK PUNCH PUNY BEAR. SURRAK PUNCH ALL BEAR ON TARKIR. Surrak's great against control. Your creatures being un-counterable is great. Not to mention, he even has flash...SURPRISE BEAR PUNCH OUTTA NOWHERE
