Second Big Update —May 23, 2019

IN

  • Dreadhorde Arcanist - I'm not sure how I missed this originally, but this card is insane; it's so much value and it's undeniably worth it's slot
  • Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin - honestly a very solid card, makes lots of tokens, puts pressure on opponents early, and is very easy to buff
  • Labyrinth Champion - I go on and off with this thing honestly; I can't decide whether or not I truly like it, but it's back in for the time being as it is one of the better heroic creatures for steady damage and not big bursts
  • Ojutai Exemplars - tap down attackers or blockers is the main thing; can also function as lifegain
  • Runaway Steam-Kin - again with this one, on and off again, but it does feel like a good mana engine when you have red cards; otherwise it can feel clunky and useless, but that's a factor in this being a white heavy deck
  • Ajani's Presence - indestructible is invaluable
  • Samut's Sprint - pump spell with scry; relevant with the addition of Krenko and just as a way to help pressure planeswalkers or opponents
  • Titan's Strength - see Samut's Sprint
  • Wild Slash - prevents fog effects
  • Primal Amulet  Flip - this card looks underwhelming in a deck of mostly one cmc spells, but holy shit is it good; the front side is okay on it's own with a lot of the interaction being 2+ cmc, and it really starts to shine on the back side; being able to use chaos warp on a token **and** an opponent's permanent with it going back to your hand at the end of turn is satisfying as hell
  • Myth Realized - good early and if you can protect it, pretty mediocre otherwise; has won me games singlehandedly though, so it puts in it's work OUT
    • Guttersnipe - just not good enough honestly; makes me a huge threat and doesn't kill fast enough or hit planeswalkers
    • Knight of the White Orchid - two mana rock is probably just better
    • Silverclad Ferocidons - haha wow this card is so bad in my deck
    • Stoneforge Mystic - too narrow
    • Tethmos High Priest - too narrow; this deck doesn't recover with recursion, it recovers by just powering through the board wipe; most of what you're losing is tokens anyways
    • Aurelia's Fury - kind of mad I fell for the hype of this card; great in 1v1, bad in multiplayer
    • Magnetic Theft - too narrow
    • Spawning Breath - just bad
    • Grapeshot - just a bad version of Sentinel Tower
    • Heal - slowtrips aren't great
    • Panic - slowtrips aren't great Thank you TappedOut community for your continued interest and support. <3

I still think overdrawing with Zada and Mirrorwing should not be a problem. If you cast it once with 10 tokens out and draw 15 cards, you should be able to win the game right there without decking yourself. If not, then you probably have too many slow cards that need time to build up. That, or, don't cast huge draw cards targeting these two creatures. You will only deck out if you target them. To kill a player with feather you only need to get her to 11 power ( with double strike ), which means you need +8 power worth of pump, which should be easy if you draw 15 cards.

Maybe we are focusing on different things in our builds too. My meta isn't super creature heavy, so feather can usually get through, as long as she can survive removal. Cards like Akroan Conscriptor don't work that well for me. I might give it a try in the future. There are a few cards I still need to get for my build ( Monastery Mentor is a pricier one that I know will be amazing ), so my build is far from finished. Just noting what works well in my testing so far. I would definitely say my build relies on the fact that I am running cards like Zada and Mirrorwing because some inclusions are pretty mediocre on one creature, but are amazing when they target all your creatures. We'll see how it goes with more testing this week.

Is it worth it in your opinion to run Sun Titan to recur your Sunforger when it inevitably eats removal? Or is the cost too high?

I'm curious why you wouldn't include things like Zada in here because that escalates things from 1 to 100 real fast

"Mirrorwing and Zada; I've been over this several times, but the TLDR is that I don't like them because they don't do anything on their own and they overdraw me because of tokens"

How does this deck do in multiplayer?

TallKanz211 As someone who plays a very similar list: I can say that this deck does very well in multiplayer. I've been winning games where I knock out all 3 opponents with commander damage / combat damage. Though this deck can be hated on if you perform too fast or play too many spells in the early game and could find yourself playing 3v1. I find having a reactive play style works best until you can end the game with a strong finish. I personally run Blood Moon due to Maze of Ith only targeting Feather and one of my opponents uses Glacial Chasm .
