Artifact Storm

Good ol' ram-an-ulamog-down-their-throats.

Goals

1. Ramp into a Forsaken Monument

2. Cast something that wins you the game.

3. Mystic forge to kind-of artifact storm.

4. Ramp out Ugin, the Spirit Dragon to clear boards and bolt creatures/players to death.

5. Ramp out Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger to clear permanents or lands. If unanswered wins the game off mill.

6. If the game goes long against control, try to hang on.

Karn, the Great Creator is our best card if the game goes long. Our Karn-board includes:

• Tormod's Crypt - Graveyard hate.

• Manifold Key - Deals with stalled board/creatures blocking a Crawling Barrens.

• Pithing Needle - Hate for decks with one-card win conditions. (Teferi, Hero of Domineria)

• Shadowspear - Anti-Aggro

• Liquimetal Coating - If game is stable, can start wasting lands with Karn +1.

• Cosmos Elixir - For the long game.

• Platinum Angel - If you need it.

Ulamog is the only other actual interaction we have against true control decks. Use wisely.

Other Thoughts/Sideboarding

Sometimes putting in Automated Artificer for Ichor Wellspring.

Can also consider a Bo3 pivot to add in 2-4 Paradox Engine out of the sideboard for an artifact storm proactive juke.

Note that Emergence Zone can help you clear the opponent's hand of counterspells if you slow roll a few turns and then send it on their end step.

Crawling Barrens is another good anti-control card.
