Sorcery

Any number of target players each gain 6 life.

Green is literally the color of life in MtG, I'm not sure why lifegain would need to be tied to a card type for the color. Every type has lifegain in green:

Nissa, Nature's Artisan

Arborback Stomper

The Great Henge

Glorious Sunrise

Feed the Clan

Hunters' Feast

I invite you to join me for a Hunters' Feast.

I use it in a 60-card "everyone wins" deck that causes a draw once everyone has infinite life and skips all future draw steps...

Vraska - Vorel can't double the counters on Planeswalkers. I still like Kiora in this deck, but the only way to user her -8 ability right after you cast her is Doubling Season.

Winterblast - All of your suggestions are terrible and you should feel bad. (Except Crystalline Crawler, that's fine.) Why do you hate fun?

Arikarin - Mostly I agree with Vraska; you need a lot more mana. Try to run at least 38 lands, and get some more mana rocks. The very best Mana Rocks for you are Everflowing Chalice and Astral Cornucopia, 'cause they can get really out of hand really fast with Vorel. I also run a Pentad Prism - it just a Crystalline Crawler without a body, it's pretty nice.

Also look into more utility Graft Cards. Vigean Graftmage is really silly with Vorel. Sage of Fables and Zameck Guildmage each do serious work for you.

Mostly I think you need to take out a bunch of cards that are... sort of just terrible?

Good luck!

Sanguine Bond will still trigger off of spells or abilities that cause another player to gain life (like Hunters' Feast targeting a teammate), of off of a cost causing a player to gain life (like Invigorate), though I can't think of any cost that involves the payer gaining life.

These are the cards i would cut. The only support card that might be good is the reusable one or the one shannon suggested. I love the group hug feel of the deck, but needs more of that.

Recommended Cuts:

  • Expedition Raptor - Effect isn't strong enough for the cost.
  • Hunters' Feast - Effect isn't strong enough for the cost, I think there are other options that are recurrable or have some added value on top of the base life-gain.
  • Lead by Example - Effect isn't strong enough for the cost
  • Shoulder to Shoulder - Even this one isn't strong enough.
  • Early Harvest - If this wasn't only basics, this might be an okay card to run, but as it is, this will probably only untap 3-4 lands, while costing you about that much mana.
  • Gleam of Authority - Going deep on the +1/+1 counters? There are better cards than this for doing so. See Experimental Kraj, Plaxcaster Frogling, Vigean Graftmage - you could do a whole proliferate + graft deck.
  • Library of Leng - I don't know why you'd want this unless you are hard pressed for Trinket Mage targets or worried about discard effects. Either way, I would want to run something a little more versatile.
  • Hurkyl's Recall - Same with this. The allure of saving someone's artifacts from a vandalblast (or your own) is compelling, but until that moment arises (once every three or four games?) you got to be in the right place at the right time, with mana open. Too much work.
  • Nissa's Judgment - This card works for your deck, but there's plenty better out there for removal.
  • Magewright's Stone - This card seems like a bad Voltaic Key which is also a tough add for the deck. You are stuck on the untap shenanigans deck, which has this one split among several concepts instead of devoted entirely to one.

If you want to go deeper on the +1/+1 counters/proliferate mechanic:

  • Cultivator of Blades - I'm big on this guy right now, as he buffs all attacking creatures (including your allies')

Keep in mind that most 1st-graders have no concept of 'X' and its significance as a variable. Stream of Life and Blaze might be a bit too complicated for children without stellar number sense. However, the concept of "pay as much as you want" provides a great window into the mathematical world and into the intricacies of Magic. Depending on the child, it may be wise to replace them with something like Hunters' Feast and Lava Axe.

Feed the Clan is pretty good, but it would be better if you could have a creature. Jace's Phantasm works well in a mill deck and has potential to trigger that 10 life from Clan. Jace's Phantasm could also give you another win condition. Brindle Boar could be a more expensive creature you could use, and he can be sacked for life.

Other possibilities that I highly recommend would be Healing Leaves and Blunt the Assault. Protective and gains you life.

Maybe Fruition or Bountiful Harvest, if you think those would work well.

Dosan's Oldest Chant is okay, and so is Hunters' Feast. More expensive, but they are okay. I would probably skip the Hunter's Feast and just choose Dosan's. Or skip both for the first two I recommended! Haha.

Sorry that I'm not great in this field. I don't really play green at all, and blue doesn't do too much healing. Hope I helped though!
