Cards You Hate, but Play

Most of us have a love-hate relationship with some cards. I know all the spikes out there will remember when Restoration Angel and Thragtusk ran rampant through Standard. You either loved to play it, hated to play against, or hated that you should play it but did anyway. I bet someone will mention Tarmogoyf in this thread for one reason or another.
Tell me about cards that you hate for any reason, but that you play because they are so good. For me, it was Xenagos, the Reveler . I don't know why, but I hate the card. I refuse to play it, and I know its a great card, but something inside me intrinsically says "Don't play the steroid riddled satyr".

Sylvan Caryatid , Courser of Kruphix , Stormbreath Dragon etc. Mostly cause they are pushed power wise anyway and a playset will set you back 2/3 or better of total deck price.

I don't think I have any. I hate Grand Arbiter Augustin IV but I do not love him. Usually I find it fun to play against decks I love so there isn't much hate there. For me, the two categories of cards are really in two different camps.

Oh wait, Chromanticore because it's such a freaking pain to bring out but is so awesome. So I guess that's a love/hate relationship there, even if it's not in the same way you meant it.

I can't stand Ensoul Artifact . I will insta-tilt against a modern affinity player, even if I have an answer in hand. I vehemently despise that card.

Haha... Vampire Army, I was the same. In standard I was like...what? Then I find myself now playing it in Delver. Swiftspears, Cruise, and Dig are later icing for me

I'm in the anti-delver camp too. That little beetle-bastard...but it's just sooo good.
Also, Thoughtseize
and Mana Leak
. You will do nothing for the first few turns of the game, and it will make me happy...about feeling bad.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel is the most busted common since delver. I hate how stupid it is, but love playing him.

Ajani Vengeant . I play modern SpiritJund, and nothing makes me cringe like this guy. Yes, he's a three-of. Yes, he's a control/Lightning Helix on a dude/one-sided Armageddon . I still hate using him. yet I still do!

I used to instantly tilt when I saw Delver of Secrets Flip across the table during standard. Years later I found myself randomly budding a deck around them because...well they were in my binder. then Dig Through Time / Treasure Cruise / Monastery Swiftspear happened and i'm like...okay i guess i'll just do that :D
