I also built semi-samurai decks in black and red. They are basically color shifted weenie decks built around Legendary Samurai in those colors. The key to samurai is to go with a weenie approach.
My style is to have a little flavor in my decks, which makes them sometimes weaker overall. There are lots of samurai options in the 1-3 cmc range, which is where you want to be with a weenie deck (1-2 cmc realistically).
There are anthem effects to support this strategy and remember to have one skit for removal, as you’ll need it if games go too long. Typically, you’ll be outgunned in the late game even with bushido giving you some reach.
It’s a fun and unique tribal that most people don’t expect at FNM. I constantly make small tweaks to mine just to keep it fresh to me but the basic outline is there. I hope you have fun above all else! Interesting fact, there is a lone green samurai as well, Isao. You can go multicolored samurai if you want with Kentaro as support (or just use dual lands)!
