Using a combo involving Phyrexian Unlife and Melira, Sylvok Outcast to become invulnerable. Need help making a deck that can get this combo out before other decks can swing for lethal.

I'd caution against spending too much time assembling a combo that doesn't cause you to win or advance your board state.

Other than that, I would consider replacing Duress with Inquisition of Kozilek and replacing Hero's Downfall with Terminate or better yet Abrupt Decay . Diabolic Tutor is also pretty slow and clunky. If you cast it on turn four you lose a turn doing it, and if you cast it later than that it hasn't done you much good.

Updated. I know its not a typical combo, but it allows me to live forever (as long as my combo stays intact) which i think is worth it.

As for Diabolic Tutor i agree with you, but as demonic tutor isn't modern legal i need a better option for getting Phyrexian Unlife out. i have one for melira in Fauna Shaman

Idyllic Tutor is technically a better tutor for Phyrexian Unlife , but this combo is still slow and clunky and easily disrupted.

This combo is a trap. At zero life or about to be? You insta-lose to:

Lightning Bolt
Path to Exile
Vapor Snag
Cryptic Command
Wear / Tear
Electrolyze
Supreme Verdict
Hallowed Burial
Pyroclasm
Firespout
Dismember
Abrupt Decay
Echoing Truth
Doom Blade
Go for the Throat
Maelstrom Pulse
Lightning Helix
Ajani Vengeant
... and many more!

It would be much harder to think of a removal spell that sees play but can't break up the combo. I guess you'll win against the guy who sides in all of his Ancient Grudge and Shatterstorm ...

I would love to play Scapeshift against this.
