Turbo Hedron Alignment

Heirloom

MrPhyntch

Sideboard

This is a deck that is largely based on the MTGGoldfish Hedron Alignment deck that can be found here: http://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/against-the-odds-hedron-alignment

Modifications I made to this deck are as follows:

-1 Scout the Borders, +1 Oath of Jace (main board)

I really like having a second Oath of Jace in this deck. Being able to send one to the graveyard for recycling with Den Protector or to use for Delve fuel is really nice, in addition to having extra insurance against a bad situation where you already have a hedron on the battlefield, and now have 2-3 stuck in hand (thanks to a Treasure cruise or the like). I would have rather removed Gather the pack instead of this, but Scout the borders has 3 cmc (like Oath), and if given the choice in games I would usualy rather cast Gather than Scout for purposes of mana efficiency.

-1 Infinite Obliteration, -1 Duress, +2 Flaying Tendrils (sideboard)

My local meta is much more into aggro, with 2 players with W/B allies, 2 players with goblins, and 3 players on G/B Aristocrats. I wanted a nice cheaper but effective board wipe for dealing with these matchups.

-1 Bloodstained Mire, +1 Wooded foothills (mainboard)

This was actually a budget concern, seeing as I only have 3 Mires. The foothills, however, can grab either green source in my deck, so it's not a completely dead draw. I would have rather had the 4th Mire though.
