This is my attempt at a modern Soulflayer deck. I've done my best to marry dredge as well as splashing red for card draw and graveyard filling in order to fill my grave yard with creatures to delve to Soulflayer primarily Akroma, Angel of Wrath. still new to modern and am sure there are plenty of suggestions to be made feel free to chime on in.

T1 Marsh Flats fetch a Blood Crypt untapped pay life at 17 play Faithless Looting discarding some dredge enabler:Golgari Thug, Life from the Loam, Dakmor Salvage or just get to the point and discard Geist of Saint Traft and Akroma, Angel of Wrath if in hand.

T2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth dredge instead of draw if no geist or angel of wrath in grave and start filling your grave yard with creatures to feed to Soulflayer delve Faithless Looting, Marsh Flats, Akroma, Angel of Wrath and Geist of Saint Traft to cast Soulflayer creating a 4/4 hexproof, flying, first strike, trample, vigilance, demon with haste .

Aurelia, the Warleader + Goryo's Vengeance - hit em with your best shot... do it again.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn + Goryo's Vengeance - catch him before he shuffles unleash hell. amazing T3. plus he shuffles all my goryos back in.

Cloudshift + Goryo's Vengeance - the legends can stay as their blink negates the end turn effect of vengeance.
