Ok, on to this deck - So the challenge was to build a deck around Rally the Ancestors. The obvious note about Rally the Ancestors (RtA) is the glaring omission of the word "haste" on the card text for the creatures that you summon back. This means that you need to try to create a combo situation where the enter the battlefield (ETB) effects make up for the lack of haste. In addition, you need to try to get as many creature cards in the graveyard to maximize the potential of RtA. I will give a brief deck tech as well as detailing some of the combos/decisions.
Rally the Ancestors is particularly challenging in Modern because you need to be as fast and potent as possible. This deck aims for a turn 5 kill or definitely a turn 6.
Here's the major win condition-
Purphoros, God of the Forge

Rally the Ancestors
- This brings about maximum damage when your Rally the Ancestors (RtA) goes off. The good news is that you can bring back Purphoros, God of the Forge with RtA. So even if you mill a couple Purphoros'es into the graveyard, no worries, one of them will land with RtA and you will be dealing 2 damage per creature to your opponents face.
2nd win condition - HASTY GOBLINS
Say what you will about goblins, but they are quick buggers. Not only will you have really early pressure with Goblin Guide, Legion Loyalist, Foundry Street Denizen, and Mogg War Marshal, but you will be able to pump them up for blazing quick beatdown with Goblin Chieftain.
The awesome thing is that if you use Rally the Ancestors on your goblins and you have at least one Goblin Chieftain in the graveyard, then all of your rallied goblins will have haste. Legion Loyalist even gives your rallied goblins first strike, trample, and protection against creature tokens. The only downside is that this secondary win condition has to be cast on your turn, so you don't get the full advantage of the instance aspect of RtA. Nevertheless this can be a game ender as early as turn 5.
Given that we want to send our goblins to the graveyard the biggest question is how do we get as many there as possible by turn 5? This comes by Faithless Looting and Tormenting Voice. Both of these spells will help us fill our graveyard with goblins as well as find our RtA quicker for a speedier combo.
In addition to the cantrips, we have Collateral Damage and Goblin Grenade for extra control and damage.
The mana base is pretty straightforward, although you can tinker with it and possibly add some Clifftop Retreat if that flows better for you.
