Total noob here. Made my first deck. be honest
Concerns/questions I have:
1) I don't have any planes walkers but I would if I knew what cards to take out.
2) I don't know if I need a "finisher" type of card (be it enchantment, creature, etc.) or if I already have one or two and don't know it.
3) I am concerned that I am spreading my "strategies" too thin. By that I mean going for control, growth +/+, and energy. Do I need to be more focused? Do I have a good balance?
4) I am not sure if my creature's mana distribution is adequate
5) I am not sure if the number of creature cards at each mana cost point is correct. Im concerned that I have the same odds of drawing a first hand of 4 or 5 mana cost creatures as I do the 1 and 2 cost creatures.
6) Will this deck be competitive on a small scale at local FNM?? Should I buy this deck??
Strategy and background:
Control opponents creatures by tapping or casting an instant for prevention, Get energy, grow creatures with +1/+1 counters. My artifacts are really important here I think. I appreciate all tips, suggestions, and comments I can get for improvement.
How I made the deck:
As a beginner, I basically went through the last two blocks online and picked out what cards I thought would go well with my strategy. I have a large "maybe" board that shows other cards I had considered and may give you an idea about the card pool I chose from while making the deck. It was hard making so many cuts but the "maybe" list shows what I decided not to pick while whittling down this deck. I am not 100% sure about anything I've chosen but I did my best to think about abilities and synergistic cards. Thank you SO much for your comments and help!
