Let's face it, Jund is awesome. Combin'e the amazing creatures of green with the outstanding removal of black and add in some red for extra fun.
Everybody likes fun! This deck as a little of everything: Sylvan Caryatid for ramp, Courser of Kruphix and Scavenging Ooze for lifegain, Polukranos, World Eater and Stormbreath Dragon for stomping, and Abrupt Decay and Hero's Downfall for removal.
Everything has a purpose. Smash with creatures. Kill their creatures so you can smash some more with yours. Draw cards. Scry to draw cards. Lose life. Gain life. Win at Magic.
It's fun for everybody, because everybody gets owned by Jund!
