Considering the cheesy sideboard i quickly made up the deck did surprisingly well this past weekend.
Friday: I got second at FNM going up against a mono white weenie deck (2-1), a Black white pain control (2-0) and green black enchant aggro (1-2) I lost tho the golgari deck in the final round when i got flooded and he just kept scavenging everything i killed. The guy I lost to placed first.
Saturday: I made fourth at game day with a turnout of about 18 players. First round when up against a red blue control with Spellheart Chimera as their win condition (2-1). Black White pain control same as on friday (2-1). Desecration Demon does not do well against Assemble the Legion. Last round I faced a mono white with flyers that was just too quick for me to deal with (0-2).
Sunday: I placed second with a turn out of 14 people. First round was against a Red Green aggro (2-0). Next went up against a Red Blue Nivix Cyclops power up deck. He had Guttersnipe too, but didn't draw any. (2-1) Last round when up against a Green White aggro with Fleecemane Lion and Voice of Resurgence (2-0). Here chained to rocks saved my ass against the voice on turn 2. I finished the match when I was able to burn him down on the stack with Guttersnipe and Warleader's Helix when he put Unflinching Courage on a monstrous fleecemane.
Over all did pretty well and i still need to make a dedicated sideboard and invest in some shock lands for this deck. Still open to suggestions
