Sideboard

This is a WB hatebears deck featuring Maralen of the Mornsong, a powerhouse of a card. The way the deck abuses it is simple, Leonin Arbiter and Aven Mindcensor. These will hurt the opponent normally more than us, as we can afford to pay two with such a low CMC deck. The effects that hurt searching also mess with our opponent's fetchlands, whilst not affecting our fetchland-less deck, and also hurt them by turning our Ghost Quarter into Strip Mine and our Path to Exile into a better Swords to Plowshares.

We can get around her ability in our own ways too, Dark Confidant draws us cards without the use of literally drawing cards, and so we can still build up. Before we drop these pieces, keep in mind the incremental life loss can very much hurt ourselves. Path to Exile and Fatal Push can kill it off in a pinch.

The gameplan of this deck isn't hurt by not finding or building the combo, but can be greatly helped by it. our deck has enough of a backbone to handle itself fine as a normal hatebear deck to care much. In the sideboard, more Dark Confidants can be found, being a great replacement in a matchup where Maralen of the Mornsong isn't useful.

The combo normally is either set up by turn three-four or never at all, after that point we would win or lose with or without it.
