The key card of the deck is obviously Dynavolt Tower . The goal is to slam a Winding Constrictor on turn two and a tower on turn three to get the energy production to begin. The Goal is to keep the board clear of any early game threats with the amplitude of removal and to rip problematic creatures out of the opponents hand with Harsh Scrutiny. The decks main card draw spell is Live Fast because we lack the blue mana to play Glimmer of Genius. Our secondary win condition is Bristling Hydra and Goblin Dark-Dwellers. These two creatures give not only a great threat but also synergies with Dynavolt Tower and Winding Constrictor. Goblin Dark-Dwellers is particularly good in this build because all of the instants and sorceries in the main deck and sideboard are under three converted mana cost. Though we have cards with double red,Goblin Dark-Dwellers, double green,Bristling Hydra, and double black,Grasp of Darkness, our deck has plenty of ways to fix mana and cast these cards reliably.

In the side board we have Ob Nixilis Reignited and Tireless Tracker to try and help us win the card advantage race against other control decks. We also play Transgress the Mind against control decks in the place of Harsh Scrutiny do to the fact that it often whiffs on removing anything from the opponents hand. Against Agro decks like boros humans, or mono-black zombies we play the full play set of Sweltering Suns in the sideboard. Against the multitude of artifact heavy decks we play Dissenter's Deliverance over cards like Manglehorn because of its interaction with Dynavolt Tower .
