GRN Standard - Izzet Guild

Control the game while building up large Firemind's Research for back to back hits to the face. Use Sonic Assault's to tap down creatures, Unexplained Disappearance to remove creatures while attacking with Narcomoeba that you played for free using Surveil mechanic. Have a need to go even wider? Then utilize Murmuring Mystic to your advantage.

-Radical Idea or Guttersnipe: Radical Idea speeds our draws up even more, whereas Guttersnipe speeds the kill up. Not certain which I will like more. Currently leaning towards the sniper.

Find our Jump-Start, Narcomoeba, and control our top-deck that much more.

-Unexplained Disappearance

-Sinister Sabotage

-Search for Azcanta  /Azcanta, the Sunken Ruin

Stall/Assault

Our creatures exist to stall out the game long enough for us to find out finishers and/or to go wide.

-Narcomoeba: Comes out for free, flies, good chumpy.

-Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive: Unstoppable

-Murmuring Mystic: A decent butt and helps supplement our Narcomoeba

-Firemind's Research: Who needs Niv-Mizzet when you have it's research? 5 tokens and burn to the face!

-Ral, Izzet Viceroy: The dream that can protect itself. Search for narcomoeba or another needed card, fuel your jump-starts, or just tick up and get the emblem which is a game ender in this deck, fueling itself over and over and over again.

Sideboard

It's burning man!

-Banefire: Burn it all to the ground.

-Direct Current: Not a bad a little quasi-shock that is repeatable. Useful if leaning into the burn.

-Mirror Image + Quasiduplicate: Feel like replicating your minions that much more? OK. Let's do this.

-Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind: Just doesn't feel right without the firemind.
