That's my standard mono black deck [Theros bloc + M14]. The concept is to gain life as much as you can during the game. I'll explain the mechanical;

Try to use the death of my createures like Tenacious Dead & Festering Newt combinated with Bubbling Cauldron + Elixir of Immortality to keep me alive.

Drawing fast helps a lot through Dark Prophecy that works nice with the sacrificable creatures.

So, the key is:

Festering Newt: the heart of the deck used for the combo with: Bubbling Cauldron gainlife card + Bogbrew Witch drawing card

Tenacious Dead: cheap blocking creature and sacrificable

Sanguine Bond: pure synergy with the cauldron's combo

Erebos, God of the Dead: OMG!

Gray Merchant of Asphodel: a finisher really cheap with a decent devotion on the board

In addition, some creature removal like Doom Blade to help me.
