This is the deck i took to GP Detroit and I had a blast playing. I went 4-4, next day with some tweaks I got 2nd in a side event. Next week I went 4-0 at the local FNM.

The core is based off of all the great knowledge being shared on MTGSalvations inside the 146+ page green devotion primer.

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and Oath of Nissa both have brought a new angle to this old concept.

I recently have switched to the current list which has a pair of Doubling Season. It is super sweet to drop 2 Beast tokens, or 2 Plant tokens a turn. But it allows you to ultimate your planeswalkers the turn they are casted. nothing like a turn 3 Kiora Ult dropping 6 8/8/ "octopi" that clear the board.

A situation that occurs often is Genesis Hydra for x=5 or more into doubling season = oops double counters...
