Deal with threats by bouncing and killing until you have enough mana to take their creatures and spells and pit them against their owner. One-third of your cards remove a threat from the board or prevents a threat from being played, disrupting their plans and giving you the time you need to set up your plan: your opponent's deck is also your deck.

This deck goes for the long game; keep the board clear until you can land your Ashiok safely and start playing their creatures. I wouldn't put Ashiok out until you have 5 or 6 mana on the board with a kill or counterspell in hand. Do so earlier if you have board control. Psychic Intrusion acts as a flip side to Ashiok; with Ashiok exiling creatures, Psychic Intrusion cherry picks their hand OR graveyard (because you've been killing their creatures) and makes that spell available for you to cast.

AEtherling is your second win condition for obvious reasons.

Jace, Memory Adept acts as draw and, if necessary, milling your opponent out as a third win condition.

Thassa acts as card filtering and for making creatures you steal unblockable. Don't expect her to come online, but if she does she'll be a nice beater.

Elixir of Immortality assists in recycling your kill spells and keeping you alive.
